The definitions of a non-traditional/adult applicant are as follows:

• I am 23 years or older
• I work full time and will be enrolled as either a full- or part-time student
• I am a military Veteran
• I assume multiple roles as a parent, spouse, partner or employee, and student

If you meet any of these criteria, in addition to the basic application information you must submit the following:

• Official high school transcript, or
• Official scores from high school equivalency exam (GED)

Adult students wishing to participate in the Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) for the Vermont State Colleges (VSC) should fulfill the APL requirements.
