Our Library

The library is the primary academic resource at Lyndon State College offering services, information resources and study areas. The Samuel Read Hall Library provides a helpful staff, online databases, videos and other media, as well as special in-house resources such as the Vermont Collection, specializing in Vermont and Northeast Kingdom-related materials.

The library offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere perfect for study or recreational reading. Lyndon is especially proud of its design, which garnered an American Institute of Architects/American Library Association Award for Excellence. The Samuel Read Hall Library is named after the Concord, Vermont schoolmaster who pioneered teacher education and published the first textbook on the principles of teaching.
