Once you receive your acceptance to Lyndon, here are the steps you should take – and the order in which you should take them — to make sure that all proceeds smoothly. Use it as a checklist to make sure you’ve got it all covered!

Secure Your Incoming Class and Housing
Your tuition deposit reserves you a spot in your incoming class, and it gets the ball rolling on your enrollment process, so it’s a good idea to submit it ASAP. If you wish to live on campus, you must submit the housing deposit as well. Housing deposit and tuition deposit may be paid online or on paper via the mail.
Complete the Housing Application/Contract
We want your roommate experience to be a great one. The answers on this questionnaire let us know more about you and your needs, which helps us pair you with the right person. This seals the deal. Again, first come, first served.
Start Your FAFSA
Anyone wishing to be considered for financial aid at any college MUST complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available online each year as of January 1. Begin the process as soon as possible after January 1. Once Lyndon has examined your FAFSA, an award letter is mailed to you which includes any scholarships, loans (subsidized and unsubsidized), and work study funding that may be available to you for the first year of college. The award letters are sent beginning March 1.
Take an English test online.
Students enter college at varying levels of English and math proficiency. Placement testing provides colleges with a means of making sure that you are placed in the correct level of English and math courses. This gets you started on your college degree in a way that helps you succeed.
If you are entering a post-secondary school, you are required to have received the following vaccinations:
- Td Booster administered within the past 10 years
- 2 Measles
- 2 Mumps
- 2 Rubella
- 3 Hepatitis B
- 1 Meningococcal conjugate vaccine(only for first year students living in the residence halls)
- 2 Varicella (waived if student presents a department-supplied form indicating a history of disease)
