For News About Weather-Related Class Cancellations…

In the event of inclement weather, the decision to delay or cancel classes or close the College is made by 6 am. This decision is placed on the College’s class cancellation line (802) 626-6767, or you can check the Portal announcements. This announcement is also transmitted to the following regional radio stations:

On the AM Band…

  • 1340 WSTJ St. Johnsbury
  • 550 WDEV Waterbury-Montpelier
  • 1400 WLTN Littleton

On the FM Band…

The announcement is also placed on the College’s class cancellation line (802) 626-6767, or you can check the Portal announcements.

If the decision is to delay, for example, to 10 am, this means that classes beginning before 10 am are cancelled. Classes beginning on or after 10 am will proceed. Please note that the College’s policy is to make every effort to delay rather than to close.

Decisions to cancel classes later in the day because of deteriorating conditions will be communicated as above AND by College e-mail and the Portal (assuming there is not a power outage).

For weather conditions statewide, call 1-800-ICY-ROAD (429-7623).
